Breaking: Bill Passed Requiring Voters To Present ID To Vote … Absentee!

I don’t really think this is huge news. After all, even though they did not follow the law in this past election, both Brian Kemp and Brad Raffensperger are up for reelection.

Of course, they want the 2022 election to be honest. But, I hope they both lose their primaries.

This time around anyone using an absentee ballot will not provide ID as was passed by the Georgia legislature. Kemp has signaled his willingness to sign the bill.

The Georgia Senate passed the bill by a 35-18 vote. The bill will now go to the House and if it passes will be delivered to Kemp’s desk for his signature.

No doubt Stacey Abrams and the Democrats will decry the legislation and argue that they are suppressing the dead vote as well as the cartoon vote led by Mickey Mouse and Goofy.

Abrams is expected to run for governor again but with voter ID, she will lose by a lot more than the 55,000 she lost by before.

John Fredericks broke this news Wednesday morning on The War Room with Steve Bannon.

John Fredericks: Last night the Georgia GOP led senate passed a bill requiring absentee ID – identification for all absentee ballots.  They passed this.  It was SB67.  They passed it 35-18 along party lines.  That means if you send in an absentee ballot… now you have to have a photo ID.  You have to send in your ID picture. You have to have a Georgia ID, license or government-issued license on the absentee ballot.  This was a huge win.  The vote was initiated by Republican Senator Larry Walker… Without the deplorables in Georgia this never would have happened.

Another bill that was approved includes an overhaul to the state’s absentee-ballot-signature-matching-process. Former President Donald Trump and his surrogates, following concerns about the Nov. 3 election, panned the state’s signature-matching initiatives, saying that it’s impossible to carry out a proper audit without matching signatures on envelopes with ballots.

“It’s not about disenfranchising voters. It’s not about overly burdening the electorate. It’s about efficiency, integrity, allowing the Georgia public to have confidence in the vote,” Walker said Feb. 23, according to The Associated Press.

Walker said the bill is designed to inspire confidence in Georgia’s election system, which was battered during and after the Nov. 3 election. A number of Republicans and surrogates of former President Donald Trump criticized the Georgia governor’s office and the secretary of state’s office for what they said was a lack of transparency and inconsistencies.
