Jenny Mollen and Jason Biggs, Split but Affectionate, Reunite at Perfume Launch

Jenny Mollen and Jason Biggs, who renewed their vows in Napa in 2008 and split earlier this year, appeared affectionate at her perfume launch party, with an insider saying they are ‘still very much in love.’

Jenny Mollen and her estranged husband Jason Biggs appeared close and affectionate at a Thursday night launch party for Mollen’s new fragrance, despite having separated earlier this year after 18 years of marriage.

An insider told Page Six the pair are “still very much in love,” describing them as “canoodling” with Biggs’ “hands all over her body” at the event. The source said the “American Pie” actor, 48, repeatedly told Mollen, 47, how “proud he was and how much he loved her.”

Biggs attended the launch to support Mollen as she debuted her perfume, Bi-Lingual by Villa Monstera, described as featuring “warm sandalwood meets skin-like ambrette and musk, softened by ylang-ylang.”

Mollen posted an Instagram slideshow from the night that included photos with Biggs. “My NEW PERFUME, my oldest friends, my current husband, and some other people I’m dating,” she captioned it. “This movie writes itself.”

Page Six confirmed earlier this year that Mollen and Biggs had split after 18 years of marriage. The couple share two sons, Sid, 12, and Lazlo, 8.

The two met in 2007 on the set of the film “My Best Friend’s Girl,” directed by Howard Deutch. They got engaged by January 2008 and eloped that April. In July 2008, they renewed their vows before family and friends in Napa, California, giving the Wine Country city a lasting tie to their relationship.

Mollen, author of “City of Likes,” said over the summer that she had struggled emotionally since the split. “So we are clear, I am massively depressed,” she wrote alongside a video of herself walking barefoot through a field. “This is just what surviving looks like.”

In a June podcast appearance, Mollen described how her relationship with Biggs has changed since the separation.

“And it’s still, like, romantic. We still love each other,” she said. “It’s just not, I don’t know, it’s a different type of romance. It’s, like, your best friend.”

She called returning to single life after nearly two decades “surreal” and “bizarre,” but said the two remain closely connected through their children.

“People will be like, ‘How does it feel?’ And I’m like, ‘I don’t know, the same?'” Mollen said. “We live in two different places, but we’re still tethered. We have kids. We still talk 18 times a day about everyone’s schedule and after-school and holidays.”
