Trump Ramps Up Midterm Rally Schedule With Stops in Ohio and Alaska

President Trump said his rallies are driving Republican enthusiasm ahead of the midterms as he heads to Ohio, Alaska, Arizona and Montana this week, while Vice President JD Vance campaigns in Texas.

President Donald Trump said in a Truth Social post Sunday evening that his campaign rallies are boosting Republican enthusiasm ahead of the midterms, as he prepares for another week of travel that includes stops in Ohio, Alaska, Arizona and Montana.

“My Rallies, legendary they have already become, have made a tremendous difference with the enthusiasm of the Republican Party. They have been waiting for them to happen, even though I never thought I’d have to be doing Rallies again. The good news is, I love them, the music, and the incredible enthusiasm, and will always be in favor of what’s good for America — and that means the Republican Party,” Trump wrote.

On Monday, Trump plans to visit Youngstown, Ohio, to campaign for Sen. Jon Husted and Vivek Ramaswamy, the Republican nominee for governor. “Crowds are already waiting in line,” Trump said of the Ohio stop.

He also previewed his next trip, to Wasilla, Alaska, where he will campaign for Sen. Dan Sullivan and Rep. Nick Begich as they seek reelection.

The president has been campaigning heavily in recent weeks even though he is not on the ballot. In the past week alone, he traveled to Texas twice, along with Oklahoma, Ohio, Nebraska and Alabama, before headlining events Friday in New York and Saturday in Tennessee.

Nebraska, a state Trump carried comfortably in all three of his presidential campaigns, drew a large turnout for his visit last week. One America News Network chief White House correspondent Daniel Baldwin described the scene on X, writing, “The crowd in Nebraska for President Trump is outrageous. The expo center is mobbed. Thousands of people outside. Americans were lining the streets during the motorcade.”

Vice President JD Vance is also campaigning this week, with a stop planned Tuesday in Tyler, Texas, in support of Ken Paxton’s Senate bid in a race considered pivotal for Republicans.

Trump closed his Sunday post with a message to supporters ahead of his Ohio appearance: “See you there! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”
