Tom Brady has teamed up with robotic massage company Aescape to launch a new deep-tissue recovery program called the Brady Protocol, now available at Aescape locations across the country starting at $39.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion became Aescape’s Chief Innovation Officer last year, working with the self-described world’s first robotic massage technology company to translate his personal recovery routine into a standardized session anyone can book.
The Brady Protocol is a targeted 30-minute massage that works the full posterior chain of the body, from the calves up through the traps. It relies on Aescape’s Adaptive Body Therapy, which uses robotic arms and sensors to build a map of each user’s body and adjust the massage accordingly.
“Consistent bodywork is one of the most important things you can do to take care of yourself,” Brady said in a press release announcing the launch. “I’ve always believed you don’t have to be a professional athlete to benefit from that kind of care and consistency.”
Brady said he approached his own recovery throughout his playing career by addressing tension regularly rather than waiting for an injury or pain to force the issue. “For me, consistency has always been a huge part of taking care of my body, and that’s what we wanted to bring to this,” he said.
How the Protocol Was Built
Brady worked alongside a team of licensed therapists and trainers to design the sequence, pressure and intensity of each robotic massage stroke. “We kept working at it until it felt like the work I’ve relied on for years,” he said.
The session opens with deeper pressure meant to address built-up tension, though users can adjust the intensity throughout. The robotic arms focus on the points where muscles attach to bone, applying cross-fiber work in dense muscle areas while continuously updating its body map in real time.
“The sensors create a 3D model of your body that’s going to really personalize the massage … and between each visit, it’s going to remember you and know the things you like,” Aescape founder and CEO Eric Litman has said.
A short video introduction featuring Brady walks new users through what to expect, how to use the pressure controls, and how the protocol is meant to be used as part of a regular routine rather than a one-time treatment.
Massage as Recovery, Not Luxury
Massage has often taken a backseat in the broader wellness and longevity movement compared to diet, supplements and exercise tracking. But research has pointed to real benefits: massages can offer short-term relief for neck, shoulder, lower-back and knee pain, serve as supportive care for cancer patients, and help the body recover faster from workouts, sports injuries or surgery by shortening muscle soreness and reducing stress.
The Brady Protocol is now available at all Aescape locations, including public-booking partner sites and private locations reserved for members and guests. Pricing starts at $39 and varies by location.
