Santa Rosa police are asking for the public’s help finding a 13-year-old girl who went missing earlier this month and is believed to be with a 19-year-old man who requires ongoing medical treatment.
Deanna Mendoza Pfoutz, 13, was reported missing on October 1. Jaden Wilson, 19, was last seen by family on October 2 and was reported missing on October 5. The two were seen together in Petaluma on October 4 and again in Santa Rosa on October 5.
“The Santa Rosa Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating two voluntarily missing teenagers who are believed to be together,” the department said in a Facebook post.
Police described Mendoza Pfoutz as a Hispanic female, about 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighing approximately 120 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, black pajama pants, black shoes, and carrying a black backpack.
Wilson was described as a Black male, about 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing around 120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and black pants.
It is unclear whether either person has been the victim of a crime. Police noted that Wilson has a medical condition requiring treatment, raising concern about his access to care while missing.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the police agency covering the area where the pair may be located. The Santa Rosa Police Department’s non-emergency dispatch center can be reached at 707-528-5222, and its Domestic Violence Sexual Assault Team can be reached at 707-543-3595.
The appeal comes as Santa Rosa police separately search for a 15-year-old, Hernan Gabriel Rivas Hernandez, who was reported missing on October 8. He was last seen wearing all black clothing and white shoes, and is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing around 160 pounds.
