Priscilla Presley Appears in Baesweiler With Son Navarone Ahead of Elvis Tribute Show

Priscilla Presley, 81, appeared with her son Navarone Garibaldi, 39, in Baesweiler, Germany, ahead of a stage show celebrating her life with Elvis Presley.

Priscilla Presley, 81, made a rare public appearance in Baesweiler, Germany, on Tuesday, accompanied by her son, musician Navarone Garibaldi, 39, as the town prepared to celebrate her life with the late Elvis Presley.

The pair, both dressed in black, were on hand as Priscilla signed Baesweiler’s Golden Book ahead of a special event marking her history with the rock icon. In a video shared by Hello! Magazine, Priscilla told the gathered crowd she was looking forward “to a wonderful evening with all of you.”

She then introduced her son, who told attendees he was “just happy to be traveling with [his] mom.”

“Thank you for the welcome as well. Everyone’s been so kind to both of us,” Garibaldi said.

On Wednesday, Priscilla is set to appear at the Päd. Zentrum im Gymnasium in Baesweiler for her stage show, “An Evening with Priscilla Presley.” The intimate event, hosted by Dennis Jale, will include personal stories, rare film archives, and a question-and-answer session about her life with Elvis Presley, who died in August 1977 at age 42.

Priscilla and Elvis shared a daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, who died in January 2023 from complications of a small bowel obstruction.

A son who has largely avoided the spotlight

Navarone, whom Priscilla shares with her ex Marco Garibaldi, has lived much of his life out of public view. As a teenager, he began experimenting with drugs, a habit that escalated into heroin and synthetic fentanyl use. In 2020, he reached a breaking point and detoxed cold turkey with his mother’s help.

The frontman of the band Them Guns launched a GoFundMe campaign over the summer seeking $5,500 to start an “affordable organic pizza” business from his driveway. After facing criticism over the fundraiser, Navarone addressed it on Instagram, explaining the money was needed to help cover the cost of a conventional pizza oven.
