Karl-Anthony Towns and his wife, Jordyn Woods-Towns, marked their first Halloween as a married couple with matching “Game of Thrones” costumes on the streets of New York over the weekend.
Towns dressed as the Night King, while Woods-Towns appeared in a White Walker look on Saturday night. The couple were photographed seated outside at a restaurant believed to be Sartiano’s in SoHo on Prince Street, drawing a small cluster of cameras. No other diners were visible with them at the table.
The costume outing comes just months after Towns and Woods-Towns married in a ceremony in Malibu, California, in August overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The wedding included a nod to the Knicks, the team Towns plays for, following the franchise’s first NBA championship in 53 years. Guests left the venue with custom hoodies reading “Married in 5.”
The guest list for the Malibu wedding included Josh Hart and his wife Shannon, Jalen Brunson and his wife Ali, Jose Alvarado, Miles McBride, OG Anunoby, Ben Stiller, Christine Taylor, Kylie Jenner, Timothee Chalamet, Justin Bieber, Haley Bieber, Keegan-Michael Key, Michael B. Jordan, Suni Lee, Jada Pinkett Smith, and “Love Island USA” stars Leah Kateb and Miguel Harichi.
Towns, who has been in a contract dispute with the Knicks, received his championship ring during the team’s season-opener against the Philadelphia 76ers at Madison Square Garden. That night, Woods-Towns, who owns and founded the brand “Woods by Jordyn,” debuted a limited edition version of her Tux Clutch Mini bag in “Trophy Gold.”
During last season’s playoffs, Woods-Towns had carried an orange version of the same bag, which she treated as a good luck charm through the Knicks’ run to the title, capped by a Game 5 win over the San Antonio Spurs.
The defending champion Knicks have opened this season 0-2, with losses to Philadelphia and Boston. They are scheduled to host the Orlando Magic on Sunday and the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday.
