New York Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns and his wife, model Jordyn Woods, turned heads in SoHo on Saturday with an elaborate “Game of Thrones”-themed Halloween costume that left them nearly unrecognizable.
Towns, 30, dressed as the Night King, carrying a machete prop and wearing all black, while Woods, 29, transformed into a White Walker with a blonde wig that contrasted sharply with her husband’s dark look. Both wore intricate, ghoulish makeup to complete the getups.
The couple took their costumes out for dinner, sitting down at what appeared to be Sartiano’s on Prince Street in SoHo.
Towns and Woods are known fans of the HBO fantasy series. In April, “Game of Thrones” actor Kit Harington attended Game 1 of the Knicks’ playoff series against the Atlanta Hawks at Madison Square Garden, where he and Towns had a moment that went viral.
“I would bend the knee, but my knee hurts right now,” Towns joked to Harington, referencing a famous scene in which Harington’s character, Jon Snow, refuses to kneel before Emilia Clarke’s Daenerys Targaryen.
Towns also told Harington he had been rewatching the series with Woods, who was present at the game, before asking the actor for a photo.
This Halloween marks the couple’s first since tying the knot. Towns and Woods married in August in Malibu, California, at a ceremony attended by Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet, Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber, Jada Pinkett Smith, Teyana Taylor, Gayle King, Michael B. Jordan, and Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor.
Woods was also by Towns’ side earlier this month at the Knicks’ season opener against the Philadelphia 76ers at Madison Square Garden, where she debuted a new “Trophy Gold” version of her signature orange game-day bag, the Woods by Jordyn Tux Clutch Mini. The Knicks won the NBA championship in June.
