Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark was back at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, watching the Kansas City Chiefs from Taylor Swift’s suite as the team beat the Los Angeles Chargers 22-6 to remain undefeated on the season.
CBS cameras showed Swift, wearing a red turtleneck sweater, seated next to Clark and musician Este Haim as the group celebrated a catch by tight end Travis Kelce, Swift’s husband, over the middle of the field.
Kelce finished the game with four catches for 53 yards. Running back Kenneth Walker III carried the Chiefs’ offense with 128 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries.
It was the second time in roughly a year that Clark, a self-described Chiefs fan, has joined Swift at Arrowhead. She was in the suite with Swift and others, including Kelce’s father Ed Kelce, at a Chiefs game last season.
Clark has previously been asked about her connection to Swift and Kelce after a clip from a Chiefs playoff game in January 2025 showed her talking to Swift during the broadcast. Asked about the moment on Sue Bird and Megan Rapinoe’s podcast “A Touch More,” Clark explained she was discussing the game itself.
“Honestly, I love football, and I know a lot about football,” Clark said. “So, I was telling her why they threw a flag or like — but in the best way. Like, I don’t even know everything. I was just explaining things, but, yeah, that was really fun. I’m a big Chiefs fan. So, getting to spend time with Taylor, and then also Travis played really well that game — the Chiefs won, it was the playoffs.”
In comments to ESPN in May 2025, Clark said Swift “treats everybody with the same amount of kindness.”
The Chiefs’ win came a week after Kelce and Swift marked Kelce’s 37th birthday in New York City during Kansas City’s Week 5 bye. Swift also attended the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday night, an event benefiting the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.
Clark, meanwhile, is not playing in the postseason this year. The Fever were eliminated by the Las Vegas Aces in the first round of the WNBA playoffs, losing Game 3 94-83, a game in which Clark shot 6-of-18 from the field, including 3-of-12 from three-point range, for 18 points. She still finished the regular season averaging 22.3 points and 8.3 assists per game across 40 contests as a three-time All-Star.
The WNBA Finals are currently underway between the Atlanta Dream and Golden State Valkyries, with Golden State taking Game 1 at home over the weekend. Game 2 is scheduled for Monday night in Golden State.
