Anson Williams, 77, marked the occasion with a shirtless selfie and a message telling fellow Boomers never to let anyone diminish them because of their age.

Anson Williams, who played Potsie Weber on “Happy Days,” posted a shirtless selfie over the weekend along with a message rejecting the idea that age should limit anyone’s sense of purpose.

“My yearly reminder to every Boomer: NEVER let anyone diminish us because of our age,” Williams wrote in the Instagram caption.

“I’m 77. More creative, healthier, busier, more curious — and more alive than I was at 40,” he continued, crediting his partner, “good lovin’,” kindness, adventure and “a little discipline” for how he feels. He said there are “mountains still worth climbing” and pointed to “the absolute refusal to let anyone else decide my worth” as part of what keeps him going.

He urged his followers to keep chasing their own goals, writing: “We didn’t come this far to become invisible. We came this far to become unstoppable. We’re not winding down. We’re still winning — and we haven’t even played our best hand yet.”

The post comes decades after Williams experienced a far more dangerous side of celebrity. In a previous interview with Fox News Digital, he recalled being mobbed by thousands of fans during a concert at the Del Mar Racetrack in California at the height of “Happy Days” mania.

“I ended up face-down. On the field. Literally, I couldn’t breathe,” he said, adding that his shirt was torn and he was bleeding before his manager pulled him into a nearby trailer. “I’m thinking, ‘I don’t know about this fame stuff,'” he recalled.

Williams appeared in all 11 seasons of “Happy Days,” which ran from 1974 to 1984 alongside Ron Howard, Henry Winkler and Don Most. Earlier this year, the longtime castmates reunited publicly for the first time in five decades at a panel during Steel City Con in Pittsburgh.

“It feels like 50 minutes,” Howard said during the reunion. “We’re having so much fun hanging, and this is sort of our great excuse to come together.”

After “Happy Days” ended, Williams moved behind the camera, directing episodes of “Beverly Hills, 90210,” “Melrose Place,” “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine,” “Xena: Warrior Princess,” “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” and “Charmed.”

His personal life has also stayed busy. Williams married writer and real estate broker Sharon MaHarry in 2023 after the two reconnected years after she sold him a home. He has described their relationship as “selfless love” and “an undefinable chemistry.” The couple collaborated on the off-Broadway production “Crazy Mama: A True Story of Love and Madness,” based on MaHarry’s memoir, which Williams directed and which stars his former “Happy Days” co-star Linda Purl.
