Amy Schumer shared photos and video from a family vacation in Turks and Caicos, where she posed in a floral one-piece swimsuit and documented a scuba-diving trip in the surrounding waters.
The 45-year-old comedian posted images from a beach resort stay, including shots taken aboard a boat and underwater footage from her dive. In one photo, she stood sideways on a boat deck, holding a metal railing while looking back toward the camera. Her swimsuit featured a pink-rose and green-leaf print on a cream background with lace-up detailing on the back. She wore oversized tinted sunglasses and had her blonde hair pulled into a ponytail.
Another photo showed Schumer facing the camera in the same swimsuit, adjusting her sunglasses while holding an orange buoy attached to a yellow rope. She also shared footage of herself scuba diving in tropical waters.
“Our family had the time of our lives at @beachesresorts in Turks and Caicos,” Schumer wrote in the Instagram caption. “2 best decisions of my life are becoming a mom and getting certified to dive by PADI. If you’re like me and have always wanted to dive, don’t wait!”
Schumer, who shares 7-year-old son Gene with ex-husband Chris Fischer, thanked the resort staff and credited TA3 for her swimsuit.
Famous friends react
The vacation photos drew comments from several celebrities. Actor Cheyenne Jackson wrote, “Legs McGee. 🔥,” while actress Leslie Mann commented, “Babe.” Lindsay Lohan and Krysten Ritter both left heart emojis.
An impromptu wedding
In an interview with People published Wednesday, Schumer described stumbling upon a wedding ceremony taking place on the beach near her family’s accommodations. She said she and Gene watched the vows from nearby lounge chairs before she joined the celebration and photobombed the newlyweds.
Schumer called scuba diving a highlight of the trip, saying she was able to explore reefs and see a variety of fish. Her son spent time at the resort’s water park during the stay.
Weight loss and health
The vacation comes months after Schumer addressed public speculation about her changing appearance. In December 2025, she clarified on Instagram, in a post that has since been deleted, “I didn’t lose 30lbs, I lost 50. Not to look hot which does feel fun and temporary. I did it to survive.”
Schumer, who has revealed a diagnosis of Cushing syndrome, said her health had been a major factor behind the transformation. She has also acknowledged using the medication Mounjaro. In a since-deleted Instagram video from March 2025, she said she had tried Wegovy several years earlier but struggled with nausea, adding of her current medication, “Mounjaro’s been great.”
Schumer has said improving her health, rather than meeting expectations about her appearance, has guided her approach.
