Conner Leavitt Becomes First Elimination of ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 35

Conner Leavitt and partner Adele Zaikman became the first elimination of “Dancing With the Stars” Season 35, with the show’s second episode airing Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+.

“Dancing With the Stars” kicked off its 35th season this week with the show’s first celebrity send-off already in the books. Conner Leavitt and his professional partner Adele Zaikman were eliminated Monday night, September 15, after performing to Tag Team’s “Whoomp! (There It Is)” during the season premiere, which featured the male celebrity contestants.

Zaikman had earned her spot on the show by winning the inaugural season of “Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro.” Leavitt is married to Whitney Leavitt of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” who finished fifth on “DWTS” last season.

“This has been the most fun,” Conner Leavitt said after learning he was going home. “I have the greatest dance partner in the world in Adele. I can’t wait for the world to get to see her talent.”

The season premiere is now streaming on Hulu and Disney+.

Tuesday’s episode shifts the spotlight to the female celebrity contestants, who will make their competition debuts dancing to a No. 1 song from the year they were born. One contestant will be eliminated at the end of the night.
