Trump Labels Pelosi ‘Guilty as Hell’ on J6, Criticizes ‘Lunatic’ Liz Cheney

During a recent address in Emancipation Hall, former President Donald Trump took aim at two notable figures, Nancy Pelosi and Liz Cheney, for their alleged roles in the events of January 6.

Trump accused Pelosi, the former Speaker, of refusing additional security measures that were supposedly offered before the protests. He argued that both Pelosi and Cheney were involved in deleting critical documentation related to that day.

Trump remarked, *”There’s virtually nothing left, so that’s a criminal offense. If that were a civil case, it would be a criminal offense if that happened civilly.”*

In his speech, Trump claimed that he had proposed deploying 10,000 soldiers to ensure security. He also mentioned that Pelosi had accepted some responsibility for the security lapses during the protests. Trump stated, *”She knows it. She admitted it on the tape that her daughter made.”*

He suggested that had Pelosi accepted his offer, the chaos of January 6 might have been avoided. *”In other words, J6 wouldn’t be J6,”* he continued. *”There would be no J6, but she rebuffed them. She didn’t like it. No, she didn’t like it. Maybe she wanted that to happen, but she’s guilty as hell. And now we would have to go through the process because they destroyed all the evidence.”*

Trump further insisted that the erasure of such crucial evidence amounts to a criminal act. He emphasized, *”They deleted everything… There’s virtually nothing left, so that’s a criminal offense. If that were a civil case, it would be a criminal offense if that happened civilly.”* His assertions place significant blame on Pelosi for the lack of adequate security on that significant day.

Turning his attention to Liz Cheney, Trump criticized her involvement with former Vice President Kamala Harris’ 2024 presidential campaign. Cheney’s father, Dick Cheney, was a key figure during the George W. Bush administration, known for his role in the Middle East conflicts. Trump and others who favor a more isolationist approach have often criticized those actions.

Trump questioned the support Cheney has received, asking, *”Why are we helping Liz Cheney?”* He described her as a problematic figure, saying, *”I mean, Liz Cheney is a disaster. She’s a crying lunatic and crying, crying.”* His comments reflect his disdain for Cheney’s past and present political stances, particularly those concerning military interventions.

Trump highlighted the shift in attitude towards those who oppose endless wars, remarking, *”One day when you don’t want to kill people in wars, they turn against you.”*

He accused Cheney of opposing the idea of avoiding military conflicts, suggesting she was all for aggressive military spending and actions.

His words, *”Liz Cheney hated the concept of not going to war with everybody. ‘Let’s kill everybody. Let’s spend a lot of money on military equipment.’ You know, where her father works, right?”* imply a connection between Cheney’s stance and her father’s interests in the defense sector.

Throughout his address, Trump maintained a critical tone towards both Pelosi and Cheney, underscoring what he perceives as their failures and missteps.

His remarks reveal his ongoing grievances with their actions and his belief in their culpability for past events. His words resonate with those who share his views on security, accountability, and military engagement.

The broader implications of Trump’s statements underscore a continued divide in American politics, particularly regarding the interpretation of events on January 6 and the role of military intervention in U.S. foreign policy. His comments invite further scrutiny and debate among political circles and the public alike.
