OPINION| Hold onto your MAGA hats, because the woke left has done it again! This time, they’ve taken their anti-Christian, anti-tradition, and anti-decency agenda to the world stage at the Paris Olympics opening ceremony. And what did they do? They made a mockery of one of the most sacred moments in Christianity: The Last Supper.
The opening ceremony featured a bizarre and offensive tableau that clearly referenced Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece, The Last Supper. Drag queens and dancers lined a long table, with a figure dressed as Jesus Christ at the center. This blasphemous display was a direct insult to Christians around the world, and it’s clear that the organizers knew exactly what they were doing.
But here’s the kicker: the organizers actually had the audacity to defend this outrage. They claimed that their goal was to “celebrate diversity” and “send a message of love and inclusion.” Can you believe it? They think that mocking one of the most important moments in Christian history is a way to promote love and inclusion. It’s like saying that burning down a church is a way to celebrate religious freedom.
The response from the Christian community has been swift and strong. The French Catholic Church’s conference of bishops deplored the “scenes of derision” that made a mockery of Christianity. The Anglican Communion in Egypt expressed its “deep regret,” and even the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova called out the organizers for their disrespect.
I am proud to see the private sector in Mississippi step up and put their foot down. God will not be mocked. C Spire drew a common-sense, appropriate line. https://t.co/R38yJye97I

But let’s be honest, this isn’t just about one offensive performance at the Olympics. This is part of a larger trend of the left’s war on Christianity and traditional values. They want to erase our history, rewrite our traditions, and replace them with their own twisted ideology. They want to replace the love of God with the love of self, and they’ll stop at nothing to achieve their goal.
So what can we do about it? We can stand up and speak out. We can let the world know that we won’t be silenced, and we won’t be intimidated. We can support organizations that promote Christian values and defend our religious freedom. And most importantly, we can pray. Pray for our country, pray for our leaders, and pray for the souls of those who would mock our faith.
