OPINION|Â In a move that has left many Trump supporters scratching their heads, the Secret Service has reportedly advised the Trump campaign to cease holding large outdoor rallies. This comes in the wake of the shocking assassination attempt on the former President during a rally in Pennsylvania on July 13, 2024.
According to sources close to the campaign, the Secret Service has expressed concerns about the safety of such large, outdoor events and has recommended that the Trump campaign focus on smaller, indoor gatherings. While the Secret Service has not publicly confirmed these reports, the news has sparked outrage among Trump’s loyal base.
“This is just another example of the Deep State trying to silence the voice of the American people,” said one Trump supporter. “They know that President Trump’s rallies are a powerful force, and they’re doing everything they can to shut them down.”
The assassination attempt, which left one attendee dead and several others injured, has raised serious questions about the security measures in place at Trump’s rallies.
