OPINION| In a shocking revelation that has left many Trump supporters reeling, FBI Director Christopher Wray testified before Congress that there were at least two instances where FBI officials expressed disappointment that former President Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt. Yes, you read that right. Disappointment. Not concern for the safety of a former president, but disappointment that he didn’t meet his untimely demise.
Now, I know what you’re thinking: “are you sure this isn’t some kind of twisted joke?” And to that, I say, “No, it’s not a joke. It’s a real-life episode of ‘The Twilight Zone.'”
According to Wray, two separate FBI officials were caught on tape expressing their disappointment that Trump survived the assassination attempt. Now, I’m no expert in law enforcement, but I’m pretty sure that’s not the kind of thing you’re supposed to say out loud, especially when you’re a high-ranking official in the FBI.
But wait, it gets even better. When asked about these disturbing revelations, Wray simply shrugged and said, “Well, you know, people have different opinions.” Yes, Director Wray, people do have different opinions. But I’m pretty sure “I wish the former president had been assassinated” isn’t one of the opinions you’re supposed to have as a member of the FBI.

The Gateway Pundit asked the $64,000 question:
So we’re expected to believe Crooks did the following all by himself without an insider’s help:
-Flew a drone over the Pennsylvania fairgrounds and got aerial footage of the rally layout on the day of the event including 2 hours before Trump took the stage.
-Got a range finder through security.
-Evaded law enforcement officers from several different state, local and federal agencies.
-Somehow ‘climbed’ up on a roof with his rifle 450 away from Trump, bear crawled to the perfect vantage point as bystanders alerted police and was still able to take 8 shots at Trump.
-Parked a vehicle full of explosives near the Trump rally – even though there is no online search history of Crooks researching how to make at-home explosives.
-Crooks was able to walk around the premises after Snipers took a photo of him looking suspicious.
-A sniper located in the second story window was only 40 feet away from Crooks and didn’t neutralize him.
-Trump was still able to take the stage after Crooks was pegged as suspicious by Secret Service.
This shocking revelation has left many Trump supporters wondering just how deep the rot goes in the FBI. Is this an isolated incident, or is it indicative of a larger problem within the bureau? And more importantly, what does this say about the state of our democracy when high-ranking officials in our nation’s top law enforcement agency are openly expressing disappointment that a former president survived an assassination attempt?

As Trump supporters, we must demand answers and accountability. We cannot let this shocking revelation go unaddressed. The American people deserve to know the truth, and we must hold those responsible for these disturbing comments accountable.
In the meantime, let’s all take a moment to reflect on the state of our nation and the importance of upholding the rule of law. And let’s also take a moment to appreciate the fact that Trump is still alive and well, despite the best efforts of some rogue FBI officials.
