The Biden administration’s handling of the recent Chinese spy balloon crisis is nothing short of a disgrace. It’s beyond clear that this administration had advance warning of the balloon’s flight and failed to act in a timely manner. Not only did they fail to protect our national security, but also made the US appear weak as hell.
It’s outrageous that the classified briefing given to Darrell Issa was “unspecific, insufficient and backward-looking,” and failed to provide evidence of similar flights taking place during the Trump administration.
It’s even more outrageous that the balloon was allowed to travel across multiple states and into the Atlantic Ocean before they were able to take it down.
“What I took away from this briefing confirmed that this administration and not the previous one had plenty of advance warning of an escalating Chinese espionage program, failed to act, and has now humiliated this country on the world stage,” Issa, who serves on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, told Fox News Digital.
When President Biden and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin finally addressed the situation, they offered weak excuses and tried to blame the Trump administration. But Donald Trump and several top Trump administration officials denied the allegations, saying it “never happened.”
It’s obvious that Biden and Harris don’t have the skills or the strength to effectively lead this country. This is just the latest example of their incompetence, and it’s time for them to take responsibility and resign.
The fact that they allowed a Chinese spy balloon to surveil “strategic sites” in the U.S. is a complete violation of our sovereignty and a slap in the face to the American people. They have no respect for our nation, its laws, or its citizens.
It’s time for Biden and Harris to face the music and resign before they do any more damage to our nation. This administration’s lack of leadership and failure to protect our national security is unacceptable, and they must be held accountable.
