Liberal Derangement

RED ALERT: Free & Fair Election Are HISTORY

UAFReport| Daniel|

Free and fair elections have long been seen as a cornerstone of democracy, but unfortunately, it seems that they are becoming a thing of the past. In many countries around the world, elections are plagued by corruption, intimidation, and fraud. Oh…did I say countries around the world? I meant to say here at home in our country.

One of the biggest problems with elections today is the influence of money. Where campaign finance laws are weak or nonexistent, politicians and political parties can be bought off by wealthy donors or special interest groups. This creates an unfair playing field, as candidates with deep pockets are able to outspend their opponents, effectively buying their way into office.

Another issue is the use of propaganda and disinformation, and I’m talking about real disinformation, not the crap that liberals keep claiming is disinformation. With the proliferation of social media and the ease with which information can be spread, it is becoming increasingly difficult to differentiate between facts and lies. Politicians and political parties can use social media to spread propaganda and manipulate public opinion, undermining the integrity of the electoral process. If people still had morals, then maybe there wouldn’t be so many lies, but we no longer have an honor and shame culture and we no longer fear God.

Intimidation and violence are also a major concern. In some cases, candidates or their supporters use threats and violence to suppress voter turnout or sway the outcome of an election. This can create a climate of fear and mistrust and discourage people from participating in the electoral process.

It is also becoming more common for governments to use their power to sway elections in their favor. This can include using state resources for campaigning, gerrymandering, and manipulating voter lists. These tactics effectively undermine the principle of one person, one vote, and can lead to the disenfranchisement of certain groups.

All of these issues combine to create a situation where free and fair elections are becoming a thing of the past. It is essential that governments and society take steps to address these issues and ensure that elections are free, fair, and transparent. This includes strengthening campaign finance laws, cracking down on propaganda and genuine disinformation (not opposing views), addressing intimidation and violence, and protecting the integrity of the electoral process. Without these measures, the future of democracy is at risk.
