OMG: Taliban Humiliates Biden On Global Stage

The Taliban has turned a deaf ear to begging conducted by the Joe Biden regime and the Central Intelligence Agency for permission to extend the withdrawal deadline for all U.S. personnel and allies from Afghanistan, which is currently set at August 31.

“A Taliban spokesman says the U.S. must complete its evacuation of people from Afghanistan by the Aug. 31 date the Biden administration set for the withdrawal of all U.S. troops,’ the Associated Press reported on Tuesday, noting, “The Taliban say they will accept ‘no extensions’ to the deadline.”

“CIA Director William J. Burns held a secret meeting Monday in Kabul with the Taliban’s de facto leader, Abdul Ghani Baradar, in the highest-level face-to-face encounter between the Taliban and the Biden administration since the militants seized the Afghan capital, according to U.S. officials familiar with the matter who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive diplomacy,” The Washington Post reported.

“President Biden dispatched his top spy, a veteran of the Foreign Service and the most decorated diplomat in his Cabinet, amid a frantic effort to evacuate people from Kabul international airport in what Biden has called ‘one of the largest, most difficult airlifts in history,’” the Post noted, later adding, “The CIA declined to comment on the Taliban meeting, but the discussions are likely to have involved an impending Aug. 31 deadline for the U.S. military to conclude its airlift of U.S. citizens and Afghan allies.”

As National File previously reported, the Biden regime Secretary of State Antony Blinken admitted on Sunday that the U.S. administration’s only strategy for conducting a safe withdrawal is to beg the Taliban for permission:

Blinken was told during the interview by CBS’ Major Garrett, “Someone in our audience might listen to you Mr. Secretary and say, ‘Oh, so we have to ask the Taliban for permission for American citizens to leave.’ True or not true?

The Biden regime Secretary of State nodded and solemnly affirmed, “They are in control of Kabul. That is the reality. That’s the reality that we have to deal with.” When asked how comfortable he was with that reality, Blinken said, “What I’m focused on, what we’re all focused on, is getting people out, and making sure that we’re doing everything possible to do that, it is uh, I think it is a requirement of the job to be in contact with uh, with the Taliban that controls Kabul, and look, what we’ve seen, uh, Major, is uh, is also pretty remarkable.”

National File also reported on Tuesday that the regime has only evacuated 4,000 Americans from Afghanistan, as opposed to some 21,000 Afghans.
