In her weekly press conference, Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House rejected Jerry Nadler’s bill to pack the Supreme Court with four ultra-liberal justices to swing the balance of power. It’s not that she is rejecting the idea of packing the court, it has to do with timing and procedure.
Right now, the House is concentrating on the infrastructure bill as members of the House want to pack the bill with trillions in social spending.
Pelosi says she supports the commission Biden has put together on the court-packing. By making this move it gives Chuck Schumer time to try to rally the Democrats to vote for court-packing. They may even try to add it to the infrastructure bill they believe America loves.
Both Sen Joe Manchin and Sen Kyrsten Sinema are currently likely to vote against the bill and Manchin has hinted there are other Democrats who will vote no.
.@SpeakerPelosi on if she supports @RepJerryNadler's bill to expand the Supreme Court by four seats: "No. I support the president's commission to study such a proposal…I have no plans to bring it to the floor. No."

When asked if she supported Nadler’s bill, Pelosi replied:
“No. I support the president’s commission to study such a proposal. But frankly, I’m not… Right now, we’re back, our members, our committees are putting together the infrastructure bill and the rest.”
“I don’t know that that’s a good idea or a bad idea. I think it’s an idea that should be considered, and I think the president’s taking the right approach to have a commission study such a thing. It’s a big step.”
“It’s not out of the question. It has been done before in the history of our country a long time ago. And the growth of our country, the size of our country, the growth of our challenges in terms of the economy, etc., might necessitate such a thing. But, in answer to your question, I have no plans to bring it to the floor.”
House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) and Sen. Ed Markey (D-Mass.) wrote the bill increasing the number of judges on the court to 13 from its present nine. The last time justices were added to the court was in 1869. That is 152 years for you liberals out there.
The only reason for adding four far-left judges to the Supreme Court is so they can get favorable rulings on unconstitutional legislation.
They are angry because President Trump was able to name 3 justices to the court. But they forgot what Obama said in situations like this, “Elections have consequences.”
It’s not the Republican’s fault that the Democrats nominated the worst candidate in history.
Don’t think for a second that Pelosi is not going to bring this idea for a vote … she just has some more clever way to sell it to the public. Plus, she wants all the credit for crippling the republic, and the CCP $$$ that comes as the reward.
