Rashida Tlaib Suggests Arresting President Trump’s Cabinet Members

Opinion| It’s hard to know if the level of irreverence Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and her fellow Democrats are showing towards the Constitution, that they took an oath to uphold, is based on desperation, their commitment to balls out Marxism, or both.

Pelosi represents a single US congressional district.  A radical one at that. She is but one of 435 representatives, representing 0.23% of the population.  Yet, she is conducting a one-woman government shutdown by targeting President Trump for impeachment.

Pelosi refuses to put her impeachment inquiry to a vote of the entire congress.  She has unilaterally decided that congress shall devote all of its resources to impeachment (her business) and not to the peoples’ business.

And, she is eviscerating the Constitution by refusing to permit Republicans or the president any defense.

-There is no sense of impartiality to Pelosi’s unilateral and self-serving impeachment inquiry.  Pelosi has appointed herself a jury of one… one very biased and desperate juror.

-Pelosi began her ‘impeachment inquiry’ without a predicate crime to warrant its initiation.  No worry. There’s always a Deep State operative that’s ready to manufacture a necessary predicate.  In this case that appears to be ICIG Michael Atkinson.

This is eerily reminiscent of Pelosi’s decree on the eve of the Obamacare vote – ‘we have to pass the bill to see what’s in it.’

-President Trump and House Republicans are being blocked from questioning his accuser.  So much for confronting the witnesses against him.

-Neither President Trump nor Republicans can call witnesses in his defense.

-Neither does Pelosi’s impeachment strategy permit President Trump any form of legal representation.

There’s literally not a single protection within the Sixth Amendment that Pelosi hasn’t violated, in my view.

And, yet, not a single Democrat has stepped forward to challenge Pelosi’s authoritarian command.  Tyranny much?

But it gets worse.

Far-left “Squad” member Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and other craven Democrats are looking for ways to twist the law so that they might be able to arrest President Trump’s cabinet members.

Tlaib is suggesting that White House officials who refuse to comply with subpoenas as part of Pelosi’s faux impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump should be arrested.

BTW, Your boy, Obama’s AG Holder was held in contempt.  So much for unprecedented sweetheart. there is not a sentence that came out of her mouth that did not include a bald faced lie. Go ahead, lock up the Trump admin and see what happens next hun.

As a co-equal branch of government, Executive Branch officials have no legal obligation to present themselves for questioning by Congress unless a formal impeachment process has been voted on by the full Congress.

As discussed above, Pelosi has refused for political purposes to force her membership, many representing districts where impeachment is not in favor by the electorate, to declare their intentions by holding a full floor vote.

Yet Tlaib, and her fellow Democrats, are looking to ride roughshod over the separation of powers that the Framers labored to craft into the Constitution.  Tyranny much?

Just the day before, Chairwoman of the House Financial Services Committee Maxine Waters (D-CA), demanded that President Trump be thrown in jail and put in solitary confinement.  Tyranny much?

Earlier this week, Joe Biden demanded that President Trump’s attorney, Rudy Giuliani be silenced by U.S. media outlets.  This on top of the fact that the president has no defense counsel to counter Pelosi’s impeachment inquiry in the house.  Tyranny much?

Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA), a leading candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination doesn’t believe that President Trump should even be allowed to defend himself if only in the public square:

She asked Twitter to ban him.

This is the modern Democratic Party.  Tread carefully.
