Cory “Spartacus” Booker Humiliated & Humbled, Sets A Deadline For Sept. 30

This is the opinion of Dean James at Right Wing Tribune – Syndicated

Things aren’t going so well for Cory “Spartacus” Booker’s presidential bid. In fact, he has turned to begging for money in order to stay in the race.

LMAO!

Yes folks, Booker has just over a week to raise $1.7 million dollars or his campaign is done. Finished. Failed.

Check this out from his Facebook page:

“It’s an unusual move for a campaign like ours to be this transparent, but there can be no courage without vulnerability. I want people to see where we are and understand that we have a pathway to victory, but I can’t walk it alone.

This isn’t an end-of-quarter stunt. This is a real, unvarnished look under the hood of our campaign at a level of transparency unprecedented in presidential campaigns.

We’re at a crossroads in this campaign. We need to raise $1.7 million by September 30 to be in a position to build the organization we need to compete for the nomination—and we can do it—but if we don’t, we don’t see a legitimate long-term path forward.

If you’re all in for me, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. But if you haven’t settled on a candidate and still think my voice belongs in this race, if you believe the Democratic field should include someone like me, I want you to understand the field may narrow and pay attention to this too.

This is a herculean challenge—but it can be done. I know because we’ve done it before. So today, I’m asking for your help. Chip in $5, $10—whatever you can—to help keep my voice in this race: corybooker.com/together”

LMAO- NOW HE’S HERCULES? What a joke.

Then Booker took to Twitter to beg for money:

“This isn’t an end-of-quarter stunt. This is a real, unvarnished look under the hood of our campaign at a level of transparency unprecedented in presidential politics,” he wrote.

“We’re at a crossroads in this campaign. We need to raise $1.7 million by September 30 to be in a position to build the organization we need to compete for the nomination—and we can do it—but if we don’t, we don’t see a legitimate long-term path forward,” he said.

Fox News reports that a memo to his staff stated that — without the cash infusion — the campaign doesn’t “see a legitimate long-term path forward.”

“If we’re not able to build the campaign organization, which means raise the money that we need to win the nomination, Cory’s not going to continue running and consuming resources that are better used on focusing on beating Donald Trump,” said campaign manager Addis Demissie, who authored the memo.

The DCNF reports that Booker has campaigned largely on the importance of pushing President Donald Trump out of office and coming from a rough-around-the-edges neighborhood in New Jersey that has influenced his politics.

“I hear gunshots in my neighborhood,” Booker said at the June 26 Democratic primary debate in Miami. “I think I’m the only one — I hope I’m the only one on this panel — who had seven people shot in their neighborhood just last week.” Read The Rest At Right Wing Tribune
