Chris Pratt Says Faith Will Be His Top Legacy for His Four Kids

Chris Pratt says passing on his Christian faith is the most important legacy he hopes to leave his four children, as he and co-star Constance Wu discuss the new season of “The Terminal List.”

Actor Chris Pratt says passing on his Christian faith to his four children is the most important thing he hopes to accomplish as a father, speaking ahead of the season 2 premiere of “The Terminal List” on Prime Video.

In an interview with Fox News Digital, Pratt described faith as a daily constant in his life. “Oh, God, you know, I’m for the most part, I’m always gonna be a man of faith. My faith is how I start my day, it’s how I end my day. It’s the most important thing that I’ll be able to pass on to my kids,” he said.

Pratt reflected on the challenges of fatherhood, saying he hopes to learn from his own father’s example. “It’s an incredible blessing to be a father. It’s also a lot of hard work. And so I think I just want to teach them that … I don’t know, I want to do my best. I basically want to get right everything my dad got right and get right everything my dad got wrong. And I’m sure I’ll screw up both, you know?” he said.

Pratt is married to author Katherine Schwarzenegger, daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver. The two began dating in 2018, got engaged in January 2019 and married that June. They have three children together: daughters Lyla Maria, born in August 2020, and Eloise Christina, born in May 2022, and son Ford Fitzgerald, born in November 2024.

Pratt also has a son, Jack, born in August 2012, with his former wife, actress Anna Faris. The two married in 2009, separated in 2017 and finalized their divorce in 2018.

A Navy SEAL thriller built on veteran input

Pratt sat down for the interview alongside his “The Terminal List” co-star Constance Wu. The series, based on Jack Carr’s novel of the same name, follows Navy SEAL James Reece, played by Pratt, as he uncovers a conspiracy after his platoon is ambushed during a covert mission. Wu plays war correspondent Katie Buranek, who helps Reece investigate what happened.

Wu said she felt unusually secure while filming, crediting the number of veterans involved behind and in front of the camera. “Yeah, you probably weren’t,” Pratt responded. “We have 17 veterans on this in front of the camera, behind the camera. Writers, directors, tech advisors, safety coordinators, stuntmen, actors. So it was awesome.”

Wu also said her character’s relationship with Reece deepens in the new season. “I think for Katie, I think she cares more personally for Reece, whereas before she cared a lot about the truth and the story, but she also cares for him as a person a little more, which I think changes a lot of things,” she said.

Season 2 of “The Terminal List” premiered Oct. 21, 2026 on Prime Video.
