Oregon has some of the stricter gun laws in the country. Gabby Giffords’ gun control advocacy group, Giffords, has given the state a grade of A- for the stringency of its firearms regulations. Oregon law includes a red flag law, universal background checks, background check requirements for gun show sales, ammunition regulations and a concealed carry license requirement.
