Brewers Look to Take 3-0 Series Lead Over Dodgers in NLCS Game 3

The Milwaukee Brewers take a 2-0 series lead into Los Angeles for Game 3 of the NLCS, with Robert Gasser facing Blake Snell at Dodger Stadium on Wednesday night.

The Los Angeles Dodgers host the Milwaukee Brewers tonight for Game 3 of the National League Championship Series at Dodger Stadium, with Milwaukee holding a 2-0 series lead after winning both games in Los Angeles.

In each of the first two games, the Dodgers took an early lead only to see it slip away. The Brewers scored their way back into both contests, first with a home run and then by manufacturing runs through small-ball tactics mixed with an occasional homer.

Milwaukee will send right-hander Robert Gasser to the mound for his second start of the postseason. In his playoff debut, Gasser worked four innings and allowed three hits, including a solo home run, needing just 56 pitches. He has not pitched in a full week heading into tonight’s start.

Gasser has faced the Dodgers twice already this season, with Los Angeles winning both matchups despite respectable outings from the left-hander. In May, he threw 4.1 innings, giving up four hits, four earned runs, four walks and four strikeouts. In an August start in Los Angeles, he went 6.1 innings, allowing three earned runs on eight hits, one walk and seven strikeouts. Dodgers hitters have taken him deep three times this season.

For Los Angeles, former Cy Young winner Blake Snell will take the mound in an effort to get the Dodgers on the board in the series. Snell struggled with command in his National League Division Series start, going 3.2 innings and allowing three hits and one earned run while walking five batters and striking out five.

Snell did not face the Brewers during the regular season, but Milwaukee hitters are a combined 11-for-64 against him across his career.

Game Details

Game 3 is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. ET at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California. The game will air on FS1.
