Rory McIlroy Signs Global Deal With DP World for Traveling Fitness Trailers

Rory McIlroy has signed a multi-year global partnership with DP World that includes shipping two personalized fitness and recovery trailers to every tournament he plays worldwide.

Rory McIlroy has signed a new multi-year global partnership with DP World, the logistics company that also sponsors the European golf tour bearing its name, in a deal built around an unusual perk: two personalized fitness and recovery trailers that will follow him to every tournament he plays.

Under the agreement, DP World will send both trailers to each event McIlroy enters on the PGA Tour and the DP World Tour, using its global shipping and logistics network to move the equipment from stop to stop as he competes across multiple countries.

“Rory McIlroy’s season takes him around the world, but his training and recovery environment doesn’t have to change with it,” DP World said in its announcement. “In a new multi-year global partnership announced today, DP World will take McIlroy’s personalised fitness and recovery environment from tournament to tournament, using its smart end-to-end global logistics network to give him and his team greater consistency wherever he competes.”

The company also laid out how it plans to manage the logistical challenge of transporting two trailers worldwide on a tight tournament schedule.

“At the heart of the partnership are two personalised fitness and recovery trailers that will travel with McIlroy across his PGA Tour and DP World Tour schedules,” the statement said. “DP World will manage every stage of their journeys, from collection and customs clearance to storage and delivery, so everything McIlroy needs to train and recover is ready when he arrives at each tournament.”

McIlroy, who has won a career grand slam and earned more than $200 million in on-course prize money, has long been known as one of golf’s most dedicated advocates for physical fitness. His time in the gym is widely credited with helping make him one of the longest hitters on tour, and he has largely avoided major injuries throughout his career, with his last significant setback coming in 2017 when he suffered a hairline fracture to his rib cage.

Although McIlroy is playing a lighter schedule than at earlier points in his career, he remains a fixture on the global golf circuit. He made 14 starts on the PGA Tour in 2026, including all four major championships, and is set to return to competition at the DP World India Championship beginning October 15, his first start in nearly a month.
