Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Reportedly Hospitalized After Head Injury at Fort Dix Federal Prison

Sean “Diddy” Combs was reportedly taken from FCI Fort Dix in Burlington County to a hospital for a head injury, according to TMZ, though his team and federal prison officials have not confirmed details.

Sean “Diddy” Combs was reportedly taken from FCI Fort Dix to a nearby hospital after suffering a head injury, according to a report from TMZ. The circumstances of the injury have not been disclosed.

Combs, 56, is serving a federal sentence at the Burlington County facility. Neither his representatives nor the Federal Bureau of Prisons would confirm details of the reported injury.

A spokesperson for Combs told Fox News Digital, “We are aware of the reports concerning Sean Combs and are working to confirm the circumstances. Sean’s health and well-being are our immediate concern, and we appreciate everyone who has reached out.”

The Bureau of Prisons declined to discuss Combs’ condition or location, citing privacy and security rules. “For privacy, safety, and security reasons, we do not comment on the conditions of confinement for any incarcerated individual, including quarters assignment or medical status,” the agency said in a statement.

Sources told TMZ that Combs was conscious and speaking during his recovery, and that the injury is believed to be non-life-threatening.

This is not the first disruption to Combs’ time at Fort Dix. He was reportedly placed in solitary confinement in July after a fight with another inmate. ABC News reported at the time that the altercation began after a fellow inmate “made a remark to Combs, which instigated the event.” It remains unclear whether that incident affected his release timeline, which has shifted multiple times since he began serving his sentence. He is currently expected to be released in March 2028.

Combs was arrested in September 2024 on federal sex trafficking charges following months of misconduct allegations, lawsuits and the release of surveillance footage appearing to show him assaulting then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in a Los Angeles hotel hallway. A jury convicted him on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution on July 2, 2025, while acquitting him of more serious racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges that carried a potential life sentence.

In October, he was sentenced to more than four years in prison, along with five years of supervised release and a $500,000 fine. Prosecutors had sought roughly 11 years.
