Shoppers looking to stock up on power tools before the holidays have only hours left to take advantage of Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days sale, which wraps up Oct. 7, 2026. The two-day event, which began Oct. 6, has offered discounts of 40% to 55% on DeWalt tools and accessories, from cordless drills to mechanics tool sets.
Prime Big Deal Days is Amazon’s major fall sales event, timed to let shoppers get ahead on holiday purchases before Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Unlike the company’s July Prime Day sale, the October event runs annually and is positioned specifically as a pre-holiday shopping opportunity.
Among the discounted items are the DeWalt 20V MAX Cordless Drill Driver Set, a DeWalt 20V MAX Brushless Drywall Screwgun, a 142-piece Mechanics Tool Set with a 72-tooth ratchet, and a 192-piece tool set that carries a near-perfect five-star rating on Amazon and is currently marked 46% off.
Other deals include a 21-pack of black oxide twist drill bits suited for metal, wood, PVC and fiberglass; a heavy-duty hose rated for up to 500 PSI of water pressure; a 20V MAX hydraulic impact driver designed to run up to 57% quieter than comparable models; and an 8-foot fiberglass stepladder rated for a 500-pound load capacity that meets ANSI and OSHA safety standards.
The sale also covers smaller accessories, including a four-port fast charger compatible with DeWalt’s 12V MAX, 20V MAX and FLEXVOLT battery lines that can charge four batteries in 67 minutes, a mini portable tire inflator that reaches 150 PSI, miter safety glasses, and a wearable Bluetooth speaker built for jobsite use with up to 12 hours of runtime.
The sale is open exclusively to Amazon Prime members, though shoppers who are not already subscribers can sign up for a 30-day free trial to access the discounts along with free shipping benefits.
Amazon’s October event is expected to be the company’s last Prime Day of 2026, with the next one anticipated in summer 2027. Shoppers looking for further savings this year will have another opportunity during Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
