Michigan rock musician Ted Nugent has posted a photo on social media showing himself with a large buck taken during a recent hunt earlier this month, as he prepares for deer hunting season.
Nugent, known to fans as “Uncle Ted” and nicknamed the “Motor City Madman,” described the buck in the post as “100% real.” The image drew attention online both for the size of the animal and for Nugent’s choice of footwear: camouflage Crocs worn without socks.
Nugent, who is approaching 80 years old, has long been outspoken about his hunting lifestyle alongside his career as a musician best known for the song “Stranglehold.”
He was recently in the news for speaking out against a ballot measure in Oregon that would significantly restrict fishing and hunting in that state. Nugent discussed the issue in an appearance on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle” with Laura Ingraham.
