Prime Video’s new “Reacher” spin-off, “Neagley,” premiered Sept. 16, with all eight episodes of the first season released at once. The launch comes as the fourth season of “Reacher” wraps up on the same platform.
Maria Sten reprises her role as Frances Neagley, the character she played across the first three seasons of “Reacher.” Alan Ritchson, who stars as Jack Reacher, appears in a guest role in the spin-off.
According to Prime Video, the series follows Neagley, a private investigator and former military protege of Jack Reacher within the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit. The first season centers on her discovery that a close friend from her past has died in what she comes to see as a suspicious accident, prompting her to seek justice. Prime Video describes her as using skills learned from Reacher and her time in the 110th to pursue “a dangerous path to uncover a menacing evil.”
All eight episodes became available at 3 a.m. ET / 12 a.m. PT on Sept. 16, and the show is included for Prime Video subscribers at no extra cost.
