The United States Senate is supposed to be the most respected branch of the government. It is supposed to represent the people, and it is where many of our laws are made.
Unfortunately, it looks like this isn’t always true. Recently there have been reports that some senators are being compromised by the opposition. This means that they are working with those who don’t share their values or ideals in order to get what they want from them.
This is a serious issue because when politicians work with those on the other side of the aisle, or worse yet, hostile foreign powers, it can lead to policies that aren’t in line with the American people’s best interests.
It also sets a dangerous precedent for future generations, as this type of behavior could become normalized over time if not addressed now.
As an angry conservative patriot, this news makes me especially concerned because I know how much damage could be done if certain senators were willing to compromise their values in order to gain favors from those who don’t share their beliefs. It goes against everything we stand for as a nation and undermines our democracy as a whole.
There are many in Washington we suspect of being under the thumb of those who seek to destroy America as we know it. Perhaps at the top of this list is Mitch McConnell.

President Trump: Perhaps the worst leader in the history of our country, running it, Mitch McConnell needs to step up and do something. Because they have some good ones and that guy right there is trying very hard, he’s working very hard. But they need a lot of other people. And they better do it. It’s not just handing out money. Every time, $1.7 trillion to the Democrats and they get 10 bucks. I’m telling you Lindsey, they have something on Mitch McConnell.
