OPINION| Well, well, well, it looks like Martina Navratilova has traded her tennis racket for a Twitter account and decided to take a swing at former President Donald Trump. The tennis legend recently took to social media to call Trump’s ear bandage a “PR stunt.”
Now, I know what you’re thinking. Who is Martina Navratilova and why should we care what she thinks about Trump’s ear bandage? Well, let me tell you, she’s a former tennis player who won a bunch of championships back in the day. But just because she was good at hitting a fuzzy yellow ball over a net doesn’t mean she knows anything about politics.
But let’s get back to the ear bandage. According to Navratilova, Trump’s bandage is a “PR stunt.” Now, I’m no expert on PR stunts, but I’m pretty sure they usually involve something more exciting than a piece of gauze on your ear. Maybe Trump should have gone for a full-body cast or a fake mustache instead.
But seriously, folks, let’s not forget that Trump was the victim of an assassination attempt just a few days ago. The man was shot at a rally, for crying out loud! So, if he wants to wear a bandage on his ear to show the world that he’s a tough guy who can take a bullet and keep on trucking, then more power to him.

And let’s not forget that Trump is a master of the PR game. He knows how to get people talking, and if wearing a bandage on his ear gets people talking about him, then mission accomplished.
So, Martina Navratilova, thank you for your input, but I think we’ll stick with the guy who knows how to play the game, both on and off the tennis court. And if Trump wants to wear a bandage on his ear, then that’s his prerogative. After all, it’s a free country, and we should all be free to make our own fashion choices, even if they involve a little bit of gauze and tape.

In the end, the only thing that really matters is that Trump is still standing, and he’s still fighting for the American people. And if he wants to wear a bandage on his ear while he does it, then I say go for it. It’s just another example of his unique style and his ability to keep us all on our toes.
So, Martina Navratilova, keep your opinions to yourself and stick to tennis. We’ll take care of the politics, thank you very much.
