Christopher Wray Makes Shocking CONFESSION About Hunter Biden Thanks To Sen Kennedy

Rich Welsh| There are allegations that have been made that FBI agents shielded Hunter Biden from criminal investigations that the utterly worthless FBI Director Christopher Wray was forced to admit while being hammered by Republican senators on Thursday, before he cut his testimony short because he claimed he had to catch a flight.

The Ranking member on the Senate Judiciary Committee, Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) pointed out that the director wasn’t flying commercial and requested he reschedule the flight departure of his government paid for jet.

Prior to Wray’s skipping off, Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) pressed Wray about a whistleblower who made accusations against assistant special agent in charge of the FBI’s DC field office Tim Thibault and Brian Auten, the FBI supervisory intelligence analyst.

Kennedy asked Wray about the allegations against the two FBI agents that Grassley brought forth last month.

“Isn’t it true that Mr. Thibault, Agent Thibault, excuse me, and Auten covered up derogatory information about Mr. Hunter Biden while working for the FBI?” Kennedy asked Wray directly Thursday.

“I want to be very careful not to interfere with ongoing personnel matters,” Wray replied. “I should say that when I read the letter that describes the kinds of things that you’re talking about, I found it deeply troubling.”

I’m so sick of officials getting away with protecting wrongdoing by saying they can’t talk about it because it’s an “ongoing investigation” or they can’t get into it because of protocols, etc. It’s just a tool they use to not have to answer the questions. They can clear the room and only those with classified clearance can hear it.

The senator from Louisiana also mentioned to Wray the number of Thibault’s social media insults against Republicans that come across the same as FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page his lover (not his wife) who texted each other about Trump supporters and smelly Walmart shoppers during the phony Russian collusion investigation that Hillary Clinton got started against her opponent Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential election.

From the New York Post:

Grassley’s July letter to Wray said Auten and Thibault allegedly were involved in “a scheme” to “undermine derogatory information connected to Hunter Biden by falsely suggesting it was disinformation.”

Auten “opened an assessment which was used by an FBI Headquarters (‘FBI HQ’) team to improperly discredit negative Hunter Biden information as disinformation and caused investigative activity to cease,” Grassley wrote.

“[V]erified and verifiable derogatory information on Hunter Biden was falsely labeled as disinformation,” Grassley wrote, citing unnamed whistleblowers.

Thibault, meanwhile, allegedly tried to kill off a valid avenue of investigation of possible Hunter Biden criminality.

“In October 2020, an avenue of additional derogatory Hunter Biden reporting was ordered closed at the direction of ASAC Thibault… [when] all of the reporting was either verified or verifiable via criminal search warrants,” Grassley wrote.

“Thibault allegedly ordered the matter closed without providing a valid reason as required by FBI guidelines…. [and] subsequently attempted to improperly mark the matter in FBI systems so that it could not be opened in the future.”

Kennedy noted some of Thibault’s social media posts and asked Wray pointedly, “Do you know how this looks to the American people?”

“I will tell you that what you’re describing is not representative of the FBI … where I see patriots working their tails off with tremendous integrity and objectivity,” Wray said.

That’s another thing I’m sick and tired of. Kennedy asked Wray about Thibault’s behavior and not about the “patriots working their tails off with tremendous integrity and objectivity.” Director Wray is a master of obfuscation. He answers that way because he knows a senator is being timed and time runs out when he throws out extra verbiage that isn’t germane to the question(s) asked.

Kennedy asked Wray to corroborate that Thibault was involved in the investigation of Hunter Biden for possible tax fraud, failing to file a FARA form for lobbying work he did overseas, and money laundering. Wray was his usual slithering self and wouldn’t answer directly.

“Did he or does he work on the FBI investigation of Mr. Hunter Biden?” Kennedy asked.

“The investigation that you’re referring to is going to — and I need to be a little bit careful because we’re talking about an ongoing investigation — is being run out of our Baltimore field office, working with the Delaware US attorney who’s a holdover from the prior administration,” Wray said once again using the old I can’t talk about it scam. How come when the investigations are over these clowns never come back and say they can talk about it now? It’s all a cover up and anyone who tells you otherwise is lying to you.

Kennedy wasn’t buying it. “So I’m confused, Chris, with your answer,” the senator said. “Did he work, or does he work on the Hunter Biden investigation?”

Wray again avoided a direct answer, saying, “As I said, that the Hunter Biden investigation is being run out of the Baltimore field office.” And that doesn’t answer the question. You gotta be a magician to get an honest out of FBI director Chris Wray.
