Rich Welsh| Former President Donald Trump, when speaking of the looming questions about of Joe Biden’s age, said that “Life begins at 80.”
With a whole lot of people in the news media and the political class in Washington, DC talking about if the 79-year-old President Joe Biden should run for reelection in 2024, when he’s already not really with us anymore, Trump knocked questions about his own age and instead, questioned Biden’s mental fitness.
On Sunday, Trump, 76, posted on his social media site, Truth Social, “President Biden is one of the oldest 79s in History, but by and of itself, he is not an old man.”
The former president took a shot at Biden, saying, “there are many people in their 80s, and even 90s, that are as good and sharp as ever. Biden is not one of them, but it has little to do with his age. In actuality, life begins at 80!”
After the steal, Biden made history when he defeated Trump and became the oldest person to be elected US president. If he does decide to run again, and his irresponsible wife and family let him do it, a win in 2024 would make Biden 82, and by the end of a second term, 86.
On the other hand, if Trump runs again in 2024, a topic he continually teases supporters over, he would be 78 as of Election Day. If Trump wins, he’ll be 82 by the end of his second term. But the difference is Trump shows zero signs of cognitive decline while most people question who ties Biden’s shoes for him every day.
Trump made the post on Truth Social just hours after a new national poll was released that brought up even more questions about Biden’s age. This is predominantly because he’s not fit for the job right now and he’s talking about running for reelection.
According to the Siena College poll results, close to two-thirds of Democrats said they would rather have someone other than Joe Biden to run in 2024. About a third of those people cited his age as their main concern. I would have thought a concern would be Biden is literally destroying our country right before our eyes.
