Last season the Rams allowed 4.2 yards per carry, a middling figure for an NFL defense, a unit that included Jared Verse, who has since moved to Cleveland. With the defensive line thinner this year, some bettors expect the Giants to keep the game closer than the spread suggests, potentially within a touchdown.
Running back Cam Skattebo, who carried the ball 17 times in Week 1, is drawing attention in the player prop market. Bettors have flagged the over on 12.5 carries as well as an alternate line of 19.5 carries, priced at +750 odds on DraftKings, as Skattebo’s workload could grow if New York leans further into its ground game.
