Virginia’s New GOP Attorney General Drains Swamp on Day 1 … Fires 30 People

Virginia’s new Attorney General Jason Miyares has not wasted a minute on his first day on the job. He has fired 30 staffers, announced an investigation into the Virginia State parole board, and plans on taking cases away from Soros-backed DAs for prosecution. I can’t wait to see what he does for an encore.

The newly minted governor, Glenn Youngkin, not to be outdone issued 11 new executive orders, including the banning of CRT in the state and declaring that parents have a right to help determine what their kids are learning. This is terrible news for the Democrats in the state.

The Democrats got too cocky and decided that they could do anything they want and to hell with the voters. It reminds me of graffiti I read on a bathroom wall one time. The first message was “God is Dead” Nietzsche. Right below it was this message “Nietzsche is dead” God. The democrats dismissed their constituents and they in turn dismissed the Democrats.

Miyares wrote:

“One of the reasons Virginians get so fed up with government is the lack of transparency – and that’s a big issue here. The Virginia Parole Board broke the law when they let out murders, rapists, and cop killers early on their sentences without notifying the victims. Loudoun Country Public Schools covered up a sexual assault on school grounds for political gain, leading to an additional assault of a young girl.”

Democratic Virginia State Senator Louise Lucas claimed Miyares fired the entire Civil Rights division. Of course that was a complete lie. Only two members of the Civil Rights Division were fired.

From The Gateway Pundit

“There are 12 individuals who work in the Office of Civil Rights – only two personnel changes were made,” Miyares spox Victoria LaCivita said.

Miyares will reportedly be prosecuting criminal cases in jurisdictions where Soros DAs declined to prosecute.

Republican Glenn Youngkin was sworn in as Virginia’s 74th Governor on Saturday and he got to work immediately as well.

Following his inauguration, Governor Youngkin immediately got to work and signed 11 executive actions.

Governor Youngkin banned divisive Critical Race Theory, mask mandates at schools, vaccine mandates for state employees, and withdrew from the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI).
